Dedicated Scout Leader, Trustee Carl Prizzi

Did you know that Trustee Carl Prizzi has been an active Scout Leader in Malverne for over a decade? He started when his son Nicolas was in first grade as a Tiger Scout, stepping up to become the Tiger Cub Leader and quickly advancing to Cub Master of Pack 24 to run the entire program.

As his son progressed through the ranks, Carl supported his advancement and both eventually bridged over to the the Boy Scout Troop 24 unit. Scouting has been life changing for Carl as it has allowed him and his son to have so many great experience bonding and developing life-long memories together. Carl has helped scouts by instilling leadership skills, good morals and the importance of giving back to one's community. Troop 24 takes on multiple service projects every year and this year alone has developed 5 Eagle Scout candidates. Carl is very proud of the scouts of Troop 24 and looks forward to continuing to support the local scouting programs in Malverne.
